Believe it or not, you have your iPhone in the palm or your hands since time immemorial without knowing you might haven’t explored yet one of these tricks that might even make your high-tech life more fun and worth living for 🙂

1. Quick access to the camera
Swipe left from the lock screen to quickly open the camera.

2. Take screenshots
Press the side button and the volume up button at the same time to take a screenshot.

3. Use Siri hands-free
Say “Hey Siri” to activate Siri without having to press the home button.

4. Close apps running in the background
Swipe up from the bottom of the screen, then swipe right or left to find the app you want to close.

5. Create custom vibrations
Go to Sounds & Haptics in Settings to create a custom vibration pattern for a specific contact.

6. Use Siri to set reminders
Ask Siri to “set a reminder” and provide the details.

7. Use Siri to make calls
Say “Call [contact name]” to have Siri make a call for you.

8. Save a webpage as a PDF
Tap the share icon, then tap “Create PDF” to save the current webpage as a PDF.

9. Take a burst of photos
Hold down the camera’s shutter button to take multiple photos in quick succession.

10. Use a keyboard shortcut to type a period
Double-tap the space bar to insert a period.

11. Turn on “Silent Mode”
Swipe up from the bottom of the screen and use the switch to turn on “Silent Mode”.

12. Quickly mute a call
Press the volume down button to quickly mute a call.

13. Turn on “Dark Mode”
Go to Settings > Display & Brightness and turn on “Dark Mode”.

14. Customize control center
Go to Settings > Control Center to add or remove controls.

15. Save storage space
Go to Settings > General > iPhone Storage to see how you can free up storage space.
